What is Instant Booking?
Instant Booking is a feature offered on select cars whereby the car owner allows any rental request to be automatically approved for dates that are available in their calendar and subject to owner specified key handover times.

How Does Instant Booking Work?
The Instant Booking feature allows renters to reserve a car instantly without the need to wait for the car owner to confirm the booking. Once a renter selects a car, they can pay for it without needing a response from the car owner. A confirmation email will then be sent to both parties with the rental agreement form, which includes all the information regarding the rental dates and the renter themselves.
Instant Booking is a safe way for owners to increase their earnings. Renters must meet all the requirements to be considered safe drivers. Additionally, the owner’s car is insured through Viriyah’s comprehensive insurance for the duration of the rental period.
Cars that offer Instant Booking are highlighted as such in the search listing, on the map and on the car details page.
Once the renter sends the request, both parties will receive - as is the case with any other Rent A Car Club rental - the rental agreement. The form needs to be completed and signed by both parties before the delivery of the car.
The owner can cancel the rental up to 3 times without penalty if he has any justifiable concerns about the behaviour of the renter or in case of unforeseen circumstances. The owner will also be able to deactivate the ‘Instant Booking’ option at any time by contacting support@rentacarclub.com

Because rentals will automatically get approved, it is vital to keep your calendar up to date with when your car is available to rent.
Stick to The Bookings
Renters are depending on owners honoring their rental commitment when planning their journeys, so Instant Booking cars need to be available on the dates specified in the calendar.
Specify Pick-Up & Return Times
By specifying the hours you are available for key handovers, we can ensure renters only book times when you are available.
Instant Booking Cancellation
When an instant booking is cancelled, car owners may need to pay a cancellation fee depending on the following factors:
If the booking will start in more than 3 days, Rent a Car Club will refund the renter for the rental, but the car owner will have to pay 1% of the rental price or 500 Baht whatever is the highest amount of the two.
If this is the first instant booking cancelled and the rental period is set to begin in less than 72 hours, Rent a Car Club will refund the renter for the rental, but the car owner will have to pay 5% of the rental price or 1000 Baht whatever is the highest amount of the two.
If this is the second instant booking cancelled and the rental period is set to begin in less than 72 hours, Rent a Car Club will refund the renter for the rental, but the car owner will have to pay 10% of the rental price or 2000 Baht whatever is the highest amount of the two and the car will be removed from instant booking.

The renter will always receive a complete refund when the owner cancels. Renters rely on the availability of their rented vehicle of choice, which is why when a car owner makes several cancellations, the owner will be removed from the platform.
